You’ll need a permit for a wedding at Joshua Tree National Park. The Joshua Tree National Park Service permit office hours are Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 3:30PM. The National Park Service also has a list of non-permit days to pay attention to.
You can also apply for permits by filling out the application forms on the Joshua Tree National Park service website. You’ll have to pay a $120 fee for weddings with fewer than 25 guests.

Only one vehicle is permitted at this site per party, requiring couples to arrange shuttling to and from the site.

Hidden Valley Picnic Area, Joshua Tree
Capacity: 35 guests
Elevation: 4,205 ft
Perfect for an intimate wedding, this picnic area off a main campground is surrounded by some of the park’s iconic boulders and, of course, Joshua trees. Available to you and up to 35 guests, this site also allows access for up to 8 vehicles.

Finally, there are important restrictions that couples must adhere to when planning a Joshua Tree wedding, due to park safety and preservation concerns. to make sure you are not planning on bringing any restricted items, we recommend creating a packing list in advance!
