Food and beverage minimum: The minimum amount a couple must spend on catering and bar service to book the venue, regardless of how much food and beverage guests actually consume. Carmel Valley Ranch, for example, requires $300 per person in F&B minimum.
Exclusive-use venue: A property that hosts only one event at a time, guaranteeing the couple and their guests have the entire venue to themselves. Holman Ranch and Holly Farm are exclusive-use estates.
