How to throw a Joshua Tree Wedding is on everyone’s radar for 2025. From the rocky cliffs to the golden hour views, Joshua Tree offers something for everyone, with unique and serene experiences. Leslie and Josh, two newly weds tied the knot in Joshua Tree using the Wedy App, read their vows at Hidden Valley Picnic Area – for an elegant, and unforgettable Joshua Tree wedding!
Gypsee Photo and Film captures editorial, poised photos of Leslie and Josh, as they embark on their adventure to newly weds in Joshua Tree.

They started off the day getting ready at Casa Desierto, where Leslie opted for a soft glam hair and makeup look, with an elegant bridal up-do.

The dress alone deserves its own special feature – a stunning silky silhouette that complements Leslie as she dazzles during her first look.

Our favorite photos feature Leslie and her father, embracing at the altar. There’s nothing like a wholesome father-daughter moment to commemorate a romantic ceremony.

How to secure a Joshua Tree Wedding Permit?
If you are planning a wedding in Joshua Tree National Park, you will need a special use permit. The cost of a wedding permit application is $120 and it is non-refundable. The Joshua Tree National Park Service permit office hours are Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 3:30PM. The National Park Service also has a list of non-permit days to pay attention to.
You can also apply for permits by filling out the application forms on the Joshua Tree National Park service website. Keep in mind, your photographer, videographer, and caterer(s), will need a separate Special Use Permit ($120) for themselves as well. Although the costs may add up, without a permit, there is a $500 citation fine, so keep this in mind when planning your wedding!
While acquiring permits is a very easy process, it’s also a slow one, so be sure to allow about a month from the application to receive your permit.

Wedy has been transforming the vendor booking process by providing an intuitive and efficient search platform where couples can retrieve instant online price quotes for each of its vendors. Engaged couples spend a tremendous amount of time tracking down wedding information packets and waiting for vendors to respond back to them.
Wedy’s proprietary technology has made it possible to break down event pricing into standardized components, enabling users to “build” their own customized event, bringing both pricing transparency and efficiency to the wedding industry.
